Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people arrive on, where they come from and where they leave. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, so it does not need your consent and is not affected by the choice below. It does not identify you: Vercel counts visitors with a hash of the request that is discarded every 24 hours, and we receive only totals — pages, referring sites, countries and device types. Nothing you type into the CV builder is sent to it.
Nothing in this section runs, is stored on your device, or is sent anywhere unless you click "Accept All" or switch on "Analytics & Diagnostics" in your cookie preferences. Before you choose, and if you decline, none of it loads at all.
This one choice covers two providers: Google Analytics 4 and Sentry.
Measurement ID G-4F9ZLZJ11E. Used to understand which pages people use and where they stop. The lifetimes below are Google's documented defaults for these cookies.

Sentry is our error-monitoring provider. With your consent it also measures page performance and records a small, masked sample of browsing sessions, so that a fault someone hits can be reproduced rather than guessed at.
Sentry does receive data — it is a diagnostics tool, not a silent one. What it receives is limited deliberately:
Errors that happen on our own servers are recorded separately for reliability purposes. That happens on our infrastructure, reads nothing from your device, and is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your choice is not stored in a cookie. It is stored in your browser's local storage under the key cookie-consent, which means it stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Alongside the choice itself we store the date you made it and the version of this policy that was in force at the time. We use those two values to ask you again when:
Because this record lives only in your browser, clearing your browser data erases it and you will be asked again. We do not keep a server-side log of consent.

You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the website footer, or "Cookie settings" in the bottom-left corner on screens that have no footer. Your change takes effect immediately — you do not need to reload the page.
When you withdraw consent we stop Google Analytics and Sentry for the rest of your visit, stop any session recording in progress, delete the hcv_visitor_id identifier, and delete the Google Analytics cookies that our site can reach from your browser. We cannot promise to remove every trace: cookies set for a different subdomain, or data already sent before you changed your mind, are outside what a website can delete. Your browser's own settings can clear anything we cannot, and data already collected can also be handled through the rights described in our Privacy Policy.
Please note that if you block essential cookies in your browser, some parts of our website (such as the ability to log in and save your CV) may not function properly.
